I don't know how many people may check out this blog, but for those that do. Welcome and thank you.

I am attempting to open the first indoor Airsoft facility in the Shenandoah Valley and this blog will be a sounding board/ venting board. This is a project that has been 4-5yrs in the making and I still have serious reservations about moving forward. For those of you that aren't familiar with Airsoft a brief description:

"Airsoft is a generic name for high end BB guns that are used in Military Simulation games, and other games such as capture the flag. The replicas are a 1 for 1 recreation of actual firearms. Often made of metal, they function like their real world counterparts. The sport originated in Japan, where firearms are not legal to own by citizens. The replicas "fire" 6mm bbs made of plastic and the speed of the bbs can be 300 feet per second and higher (for outdoor use). Players use tactics to move about a maze and shoot at each other. Players are expected to call their hits, so a certain amount of integrity is required. Players must wear some sort of eye protection, whether its goggles, glasses or a full face mask. Typically, players wear some sort of military garb to add to the realism."
